Who wants to haul heavy skis to and from the snowy slopes on holiday?
The Chedi Andermatt offers the ultimate solution, our ski butler service, located among the warm woods and vintage 1950s HEAD skis that line the walls of The Living Room, alongside The Bar.
Whether you are a novice or an avid off-piste daredevil, these dedicated professionals will sort out your winter sporting equipment needs, from high-end skis and snowboards by HEAD to cross-country skis and smooth-sailing sledges and toboggans.
In addition to delivering and collecting your equipment from the slopes, our ski butlers are the Alps' most reliable source for tips about the day’s conditions and insider secrets to help you find the perfect powder. They will also store and service your skis, as well as organise transport by ski bus to and from local skiing areas.

For our guests at The Chedi Andermatt, access is effortless. Private limousine transfers to and from Zurich, Milan, Lucerne and Buochs airports can be arranged upon request. Mini buses are also available for larger groups. Transfers are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity. Guests arriving at Göschenen train station, which is ten minutes by car from the hotel, will be met by a member of our Reception staff who will assist with luggage. We will do the same for guests arriving directly into Andermatt train station, who will be especially pleased with the commute to The Chedi Andermatt, located directly across the street.
For exploring Andermatt and the Urseren Valley, we offer bicycles for rent, as two wheels are an invigorating way to discover our natural surroundings. Environmental adventurers will want to try an Alpmobile or e-bike, which we can organise for you. The Chedi Andermatt has a number of mini buses which it uses to transport guests to and from the ski lifts, while we have acquired licenses for our guests for the golf buggies so that you can, if you would like to, drive to Andermatt golf course, close by, yourself.
The Chedi Andermatt offers a valet parking service. Valet parking is available for hotel guests only at CHF 30 per night per vehicle. The Chedi Andermatt provides seven e-charging stations.
Our multi-lingual concierge team stands ready around the clock to assist you with plane and train tickets and confirmations, onward hotel bookings as well as the unexpected. We are equally informed on local activities and are available to organise your event and concert tickets, restaurant reservations, sightseeing tours, cultural excursions, golf reservations and museum passes. As you consider your multitude of options, feel free to ask any one of us about our favourite discoveries around this idyllic Destination.
The Chedi Andermatt leaves it up to you whether you want to stay connected on the slopes but within our hotel, we provide complimentary Wi-Fi to our in-house guests and residents in all guestrooms and suites as well as the public spaces. Each guestroom or suite is equipped with its own iPad for guests’ browsing pleasure. Even our private limousine transfers are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi. During the winter months, Andermatt's timeless charm is particularly evident; the snow-covered chalet roofs cast their spell and The Chedi Andermatt is the perfect ski resort in the Swiss mountains. Winter-sport lovers find powdery pleasure on the approximately 120 kilometres of slopes on the Gemsstock, the Nätschen, in Sedrun and Oberalp. The SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun is something of an Eldorado for freeriders and at the same time pampers families with sunny, gentle slopes. Our ski butlers look after our guests in The Living Room. The guests receive tips from the ski butlers about the SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun, can rent equipment from HEAD and are picked up by the ski butlers to the Nätschen and Gemsstock valley stations and from there back to The Chedi Andermatt after having enjoyed the slopes. Apart from that Andermatt is the ideal starting point for exceptional snow shoe hikes. The prepared cross-country ski runs invite you to enjoy the numerous sunny days and freshly cool mountain air in winter by taking part in this Nordic winter sport. But if you prefer the traditional wooden sledge, you can be sure: The Chedi Andermatt knows where the best runs are. But we also make it possible for you to discover the snowy landscape – wrapped in the warmth of a snug cashmere blanket – on a cosy horse and carriage. And just in case you have set your sights on something higher, we recommend a helicopter round trip with breath-taking views that you will never forget. For our little guests, we have put together an attractive and exciting program at The Chedi Bear Club, which is carried out daily during the high season and otherwise on weekends.

Deep gorges, cascading waterfalls and clear mountain lakes – in the summer, Andermatt and its surroundings are heaven for hikers, bikers, anglers, nature loves and anyone in search of relaxation. The golf enthusiasts among our guests will find an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course just a few minutes from The Chedi Andermatt. And anyone who is looking for a change of scene when wielding their clubs, can go to one of three other golf courses nearby. Sedrun, Realp and Source du Rhône all have 9-hole golf courses and together constitute the Andermatt Green "Alpine Golf". The Chedi Andermatt – a golf hotel that leaves nothing to be desired.

Anfahrtsbeschreibung
Andermatt can be reached via Zurich Airport (ZRH), which is 125 km away. This corresponds to a drive of 90 minutes or a train journey of two and a half hours. One of the busiest airports in Italy, Milan Malpensa (MXP), is located 195 km or two hours by car. There are regular connections of less than two hours to Basel airport or just 45 minutes by car to Buochs private charter airport. By car you can travel from Stuttgart or Munich to Andermatt within four hours, from Milan within two hours, from Zurich within 90 minutes and from Lucerne within 45 minutes.
